The Lavender Leadership Award

The Lavender Leadership Award is an annual honor presented by the UW-Green Bay Pride Center to recognize individual or group contributions, dedication, and achievements within the LGBTQIA2S+ community. This year, the Bay Area Council on Gender Diversity is deeply honored to receive the 2026 award from the UWGB Pride Center.

In presenting the award, Nicole Kurth highlighted BACGD's impact on the local LGBTQIA2S+ community, celebrating our "fearless leader and a talented band of dedicated volunteers" who are actively "changing hearts and minds, all while saving lives."

This recognition belongs to everyone in the BACGD family; a massive thank you to our incredible supporters who generously share their time, talents, and resources. Together, we are creating meaningful change and saving lives in the greater Green Bay area!
