A BATYA Summer Update on T-Youth Drop Ins

A quick summer update for our families and young people:

The T-Youth Drop In program at Dave & Buster's is on hiatus for now, due to management changes at the venue along with the usual summer slowdown in attendance. (Summer: great for picnics, tough for regularly scheduled programming.)

The Bay Area Trans Youth Alliance Steering Committee is actively exploring other possibilities and hopes to announce a new monthly option for middle and high school youth this fall. The goal remains the same as it's always been — a consistent, welcoming, genuinely fun space where trans and gender-diverse youth can just be kids together.

In the meantime, youth and families are warmly invited to the All Community Picnic on August 9 — it's multigenerational by design, and one of the best days of our year.
