Be The Light: September 12, Downtown

Caring for one another is not a side project around here — it is the work.
That's why BACGD is inviting community members, families, friends, and allies to take part in the Community Suicide Awareness & Prevention Walk on Friday, September 12, by joining Team BACGD.
Here's how the evening unfolds:
5:00 p.m. — Community services and resource tables open
7:00 p.m. — Featured speaker Meg Kissinger
8:00 p.m. — A one-mile candlelight walk through downtown
It's a meaningful way to show up, walk together, and remind one another that nobody should have to carry hard things alone. Some of us walk in memory of people we love. Some walk in support of people still finding their way through. All of us walk because being visible for one another matters — and because our community knows better than most how much a lit candle in the dark can mean.

We'd love to see a long line of BACGD candles moving through downtown together this September.
