November 1-30 Transgender Awareness Month

November 20 Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) annual observance on November 20 honoring the memory of transgender people whose lives were lost through acts of anti-transgender violence.  GLAAD offers some reources here.

November 20 – An Evening of Hope -- Suicide Prevention/Intervention Training at NWTC -- open to the general public - all ages 13 and above. Co-sponsored by BACGD, BATYA, Family Services & NWTC.  6:00 – 8:00 pm, no cost to attend; free pizza included – preregistration required please -- registration link found here.

November 20 - Annual Festival of Trees at the National Railroad Museum. Check out the tree sponsored by BACGD. Exhibit runs through January 4th.

November 27 - Thanksgiving Day in the United States - BACGD is grateful for you!

December 4 – Annual Glamour & Glitz CD/TG First Thursday Holiday Party, 6:30 until ??  at the Napalese Lounge – Wear your finest and for those interested, we take an annual group photo. Check out the 2024 photo at this link.  Friends, family, and allies welcome, too!

December 7 – Adult Transgender and Non-Binary Peer Group  on-line via Zoom Social Support Meeting at 7:00 pm. Email Rachel Maes, group facilitator, for Zoom code / meeting invite at rmaes3@UWAlumni.com  Group also features a private FaceBook page. 

December 11 – Annual T - Youth Holiday Party sponsored by BATYA, BACGD, Titletown, and Hinterland Brewery. Please note particpants must pre-register by December 4th in order to receive a free skating or tubing pass -- check out the details here.

December 19 - Social Prescription Art Fundraiser sponsored by SAGE at the Tarlton. Come to cheer on the BACGD Team particpating in this creative friendly entertaining competition in support of community based art opportunities accessible to all. Learn more here.
